About Ownkit
Ownkit is a marketplace for AI kits. A kit is a zip that sets up a ready-made dashboard, data files and skills in your own Claude desktop app. You pay once per kit. Your files stay in a folder on your computer; your conversations run through your own Claude account.
What you need: the Claude desktop app and a paid Claude plan.
Who makes the kits
Today every kit on Ownkit comes from shops run by the Ownkit team: Northfold, Halden, Wrenhouse, Saltmark and Wayfern.
- Northfold: Builds calm, practical systems for everyday life and work. 9 kits.
- Halden: Small, tidy systems for the things that slip through the cracks. 8 kits.
- Wrenhouse: Tidy systems for family life, from pregnancy to the school year. 6 kits.
- Saltmark: Systems for the kitchen: what you cook, what you keep and what you pour. 7 kits.
- Wayfern: Kits for the places you have been and the trips still ahead. 1 kit.
Makers outside the Ownkit team can open their own shop. See Become a maker.
How kits are checked
Before listing, every kit is checked for installers or app files and for hidden instructions. Every file is plain text you can open and read.
